A New Jersey man was arrested for strangling his cousin and her 10-year-old foster daughter after the woman walked in on him taking pornographic pictures of the little girl, authorities said.
Brian Farmer, 58, was collared late Wednesday, August 13, 2014 after investigators determined he was at the Long Branch apartment of Joan Colbert, 62, and her daughter, Veronica Roach, two nights before they were found dead on Friday, August 1, 2014.

Farmer allegedly attacked Colbert during the argument and strangled her before killing the girl, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Farmer — a registered sex offender — was booked on a battery of charges that included murder, endangering the welfare of a child and engaging in sexual conduct with a child, cops said.
