A 5-year old boy who recently returned from Guinea was tested for Ebola at the Bellevue hospital, New York on Sunday, October 26, 2014 after showing symptoms of the virus, New York Post reports.
The toddler, whose name was not immediately made available was said to be throwing up and had a temperature of 103 degrees. A neighbour also said “he looked weak”.
“He was really, really out of it,” the anonymous neighbour added.
The boy had returned to the US on Saturday, October 25, 2014 with five of his family members placed on quarantine inside their apartment.
