Inform guests that presents collected will not be for your own use but will be donated to a charity you have selected. If you have created a website, it may also be a good idea to give details about the charity on your website.
People are likely to give more generously when they know they are giving to a worthy cause than just to two individuals. Doing something for a greater good will also give you the type of satisfaction that will make you remember your wedding for a long time to come.
5. Create a hashtag
Although you will get a photographer to look after all things photographic on your big day, there may be other photographers among your guests who will be taking photographs during the wedding. Some of those photos may be the best spontaneous or hilarious moments that your photographer may have missed.
Creating a hashtag and asking people to upload the image to their social media profiles using the hashtag could be a good idea for you to select the moments you want from the wedding. You can actually print the images that you like and put them in your wedding album.
