A video encouraging viewers to unplug their phones and cut down their use of social media has ironically gone viral.
The five-minute film, put together by Gary Turk, already has 14.5million hits after being posted on YouTube on April 25
It shows the impacts using social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, and our smartphones have on our day-to-day lives and relationships.
During the video, Turk reads a poem, saying things like: ‘This media we call social is anything but’ and ‘look up from your phone, shut down that display. Stop watching this video, live life the real way.’
