Did you know that before July 2013, former Governor Godswill Akpabio had never met Governor Udom Emmanuel? He didn’t even know him.
Did you know that Umana Okon Umana, the failed All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor recommended Udom Emmanuel to Akpabio so he could be used to replace Obong Bassey Albert (OBA) as commissioner of Finance? Umana did this when he realised that OBA was also nursing a governorship political ambition.
Did you know that instead of Akpabio to replace OBA with Udom as recommended, he replaced Umana with Udom as Secretary to the State Government? But, this Akpabio, sef.
Did you know that when Akpabio saw the abilities of Udom he decided he was the best person to continue the uncommon transformation agenda for the state?
Did you know, Umana left the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC when he lost the ticket to Udom? That one, you may know but hear this… OBA stayed back in the PDP.
Do you know that Udom is now Umana’s governor and OBA is now the Senator representing Umana’s Senatorial District… Double wahala!
