453 new cases of coronavirus has been recorded in Nigeria on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has said.
A breakdown of the new cases across different states in the country is as follows; Lagos-113, FCT-72, Plateau-59, Enugu-55, Kaduna-38, Ondo-32, Osun-26, Ebonyi-20, Ogun-9, Delta-8, Borno-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Oyo-5, Bauchi-1, Kano-1, and Ekiti-1.
The 453 new cases of coronavirus now brings the total number of confirmed cases to 47,743. 956 deaths has been recorded while 33,943 patients have recovered from the virus.
