Multiple explosions on Thursday, February 26, 2015 rocked a bus station opposite the University of Jos, Plateau State, killing about 17 people.
A driver at the park, who witnessed the explosions said about five people after the first explosion occurred, while about 12 died in the explosion that followed soon afterwards.
The driver, Ibrahim Hashidu told AFP: “We rushed out after hearing the explosions to see what was happening. Moments later another device was thrown from the same car into the middle of grocers selling fruits in front of the motor park. Twelve people died and many others were injured.”
The spokesman for the Plateau State Joint Task Force (JTF) confirmed the blasts but couldn’t tentative details as they were sketchy.
