Three customers were confirmed dead on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at a local drinking joint in Iware, Ardo Kola local government area of Taraba State when a bomb exploded.
Confirming the incident, the spokesman of Taraba Police Command said three persons were killed while 19 others were injured.
It was learnt that two customers, who pretended to have come for a drink, carefully dropped a black polythene bag at the drinking spot before leaving.
“After they were served the one holding the poly bag containing the bomb dropped his beer and the polythene bag and left.
“The accomplice then said he was going to look for his friend and would come back.
“After he had also left, the bomb exploded and many people were injured while some others were killed,” a source in the community disclosed.
It was however learnt that one of the culprits was apprehended and killed by a mob.
