A 27-year-old man identified as Cyril Etim Ojar has decapitated a pastor in Rivers State and swore to repeat the process if circumstances that led to the incident should repeat itself again.
The victim, James Eni, was a pastor of an Evangelical church in Old Netim, Akamkpa local government area of Cross River State.
The suspect has been arrested and detained in the custody of the state Police Command headquarters at Dimond Hill.
During an interview with Vanguard, Ojar revealed that he went on a stroll around the area where the deceased pastor resided.
According to him, the pastor engaged him in a hot chase armed with a cutlass after he (the deceased) got angry over an undisclosed issue but he (the suspect) eventually overpowered him and killed in the process.
