22 Redeemers University Students Face Suspension For Not Attending Church Activities

Must read

Redeemers University will on Monday, January 26, 2015 decide on the fate of  22 students who missed church activities.

This was disclosed by an anonymous source who revealed that one of the students missed not going to church because of  asthma attack, but his complain fell on deaf ears.

However, the students have been sent home to go and inform their parents of the suspension.

The parents have expressed their anger and are about to stage a protest as they feel the punishment is not only harsh but will also involve paying another N400,000 as school fees if their children missed the upcoming exams.

Meanwhile, the school authority are unwavering in their decision because the students handbook already made it clear that ‘Absence form corporate worship hours’ will attract a deduction of 10points from the offenders total 100 points.

The source also made it clear that she is very much aware that the general overseer of the Redeem Christian church, Pastor Adeboye does not know the harsh ways in which porters handle most cases in the name of being disciplined.
