The Chadian army has announced that it killed 207 Boko Haram fighters on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 near Gamboru a border town in Borno State.
According to Reuters, nine Chadian soldiers were injured with one killed in the battle that happened in the town, which is in the border with Cameroon
The troops reportedly recovered two pick up truck along with large quantities of small arms and ammunition
The operation is part of a regional multi-nation military campaign to tackle the sect made up of troops from Chad, Niger, Cameroon and Nigeria.
