Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has said that there is no chance of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, winning the next presidential election.
According to Galadima, the main opposition political party is not even on the ballot, insisting it is a victory for Rabiu Kwankwaso all the way.
Rabiu Kwankwaso, the immediate past governor of Kano State, is the presidential candidate of NNPP and has polled at a distant 4th on all national polls since the electioneering season began.
He believes that Kwankwaso will win all the states in the north.
Galadima said that the South East and South South have been taken away from Atiku and PDP over his feud with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and the emergence of Peter Obi.
He stated this on Thursday, October 27, 2022, in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
“PDP is not even on the ballot because its strength is in the South-East, which has been eroded by Peter Obi,” he said.
“The next strength of PDP is in the South-South. With Wike never supporting Atiku, the South-South is gone.
“The north-east is completely Kwankwaso because he will win Taraba, Adamawa, Gombe, and Bauchi, including the governorship.
Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Kwankwaso, and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are the main contenders in the 2023 presidential election.
