Tiwa Savage, Davido, Beyonce, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Others Nominated For BET Awards 2014 [SEE Full List]

The BET Awards was established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network is to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year.

The nominees for 2014 BET Awards was revealed on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Nigerian singers made the list for Best African Artiste.

Davido, who has made waves in the music industry both locally and internationally with hit songs like ‘Gobe’, ‘Skelewu’ and his latest single ‘Aye’, was nominated alongside Mavin crew first lady Tiwa Savage.

Nominations were announced in 20 categories selected by the network voting crew which comprised respectable entertainment icons in different field of entertainment such as: television, film, music, social media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, creative arts and fans.

This event will be shown live on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 8pm on BET Networks from the Nokia Theatre  in Los Angeles, California.
