Two men escaped death by the whiskers in Ajah area of Lagos State when they were attacked for allegedly removing another man’s testicles using African magic, Leadership reports.
A mob had on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 descended on two young men identified as Sule and Mohammed at the Ilaje area of the state for allegedly using diabolic means to make the testicles of one man, Bamijoko to disappear.
Mohammed who claimed to be Sule’s friend disclosed that they were walking in each other’s company when Sule’s right shoulder touched Bamijoko on the fateful day.
Bamijoko immediately started screaming that his testicles had disappeared thereby attracting the attention of the mob who subsequently descended on Sule who beat him to pulp.
According to Mohammed, the raging mob transferred the aggression on him when he asked them to take it easy wit Sule because he could be possibly innocent of the accusation.
But for the timely intervention of a mobile policemen, the two young men would have been beaten to death.
Narrating the incident which occurred around 8pm on the aforementioned day, Mohammed said, “We were surprised when the man began to shout on top of his voice that my friend, Sule removed his testicles. We were confused.
“Before Sule would utter a word, the people around attacked him. They said the man accusing him was saying the truth. The complainant told a man to check if his testicles were there or not.
“The man said they had vanished and the people screamed. When I told them that Sule was a friend and we were walking together when the man screamed, they abandoned Sule and attacked me. They said we connived to carry out the act.
“A mobile policeman saved our lives as he ordered them to stop beating us. We wanted to report the matter at the station but the policeman told us to leave the matter because God has saved our lives.”
