Two brothers allegedly beheaded their 17-year-old sister because she was having an affair with their cousin despite several warnings from them.
The incident happened on Monday, August 17, 2015 in the Jalalabad area of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh, India.
According to a Senior Superintendent of Police, Bablu Kumar, the slain Phool Jahan was having an affair with her cousin, Achchan and both families were ready for their marriage.
The two brothers, Gul Hasan and Mohammad alias Nanhu, decided to take lwas into their hands on the fateful day after they saw Jahan visiting Achchan’s house by chopping off her head and moved around the village carrying it.
According to Indian Today, police arrested Nanhu who later confessed to the crime, while his brother is still at large.
Besides, the knife with which they committed the crime has been recovered.
