The father of 13-year-old Ese Oruru, Mr. Charles Oruru, has confirmed rumours that his daughter is five months pregnant indeed.
Mr Oruru made the disclosure to Bayelsa State Governor Hon. Seriake Dickson, at the Bayelsa Government House as he narrated the events that surrounded his daughter’s abduction.
The development was made known during RayPower FM’s political talk show, Political Platform in the morning of Thursday, March 3, 2016.
The young girl was abducted from Bayelsa State in August 2015 by one of her mother’s customers, Yinusa Yellow, who took her to Kano State where she was converted to Islam and forced into marriage.

Efforts made by her parents to rescue her proved abortive as they were rebuffed and sent away from the Emir’s palace after they were told that she had been converted to Islam and renamed Aisha.
Oruru, was later released and reunited with her parents following viral reports and social media campaign against her abduction.
