The member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Olatoye Temitope, aka Sugar, has sweetened the New Year for many of his constituents by appointing 43 of them as Legislative Assistants.
Temitope, who represents Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency of Oyo State, while presenting letters of appointment to the aides at the end of the year ceremony held at the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Ejioku, Lagelu Local Government Area stated that out of the new appointees, 33 of them were legislative assistants while the remaining 10 were given senior legislative assistants appointments.
Temitope says he decided to have as many as 43 aides because of his desire to always be in touch with his constituency members.
About 2,000 APC leaders and members from both Lagelu and Akinyele Local Government Areas of the state were in attendance Gift items worth millions of naira were distributed by the lawmaker to other party faithfuls.
