PHOTOS From Burial Ceremony Of Late Audu In Kogi

Thousands of sympathisers on Monday, November 23, 2015 thronged the home of Late Prince Abubakar Audu, the All Progressive Congress governorship candidate in Kogi State as his body was laid to rest in Ogbonicha, his village in Ofu Local Governmnent Area of Kogi State.

Tears flowed uncontrollably as Audu was lowered into the grave at exactly 1.32 pm at the ceremony presided over by Sheikh Salman Adam, the Chairman, Kogi Council of Ulamah who was assisted by Chief Imam of Anyigba, Imam Yahaya Musa.

Dignitaries and top politicians were present to witness the burial ceremony of Audu who died of cardiac arrest on Sunday, November 22, 2015 shortly after Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared the election inconclusive.

Prominent among the guests were Senator Abdulrahman Abubakar representing Kogi East, several members of the National Assembly, APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and former governors of Benue, Kano and Edo states George Akume, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Lucky Igbinedion.
