Hopes were dampened after Nigeria’s first outing in the FIFA World Cup were they ended aith a goalless draw against Iran.
The Brazil 2014 has been full of surprises, the top rated teams have shocked the world with below average performances, most shocking being the early exit of the defending champions, Spain, in the first round.
The Spiritual Leader of One Love Family, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji, has given hope to Nigerians by assuring them that this years World Cup will be a good one for the Super Eagles.
He said that not only will the Nigerian team win today’s crucial match against Bosnia but they will go ahead to finish strong in the rournament.
Speaking to Saturday Independent on Friday, June 20, 2014 Maharaj Ji disclosed that he had warned the team before the commencement of the competition against blue colour in any form but, however, assured that he would intervene to turn the table in favour of the team.
He made it clear that irrespective of Eagles not too impressive outing against Iran in their first match, the team would qualify from the group stage. He added that today’s match against Bosnia is mere formality.
Here is what he had to say:
“I was expecting that the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) would get back to me as they did during the Nations Cup otherwise the team has no business being in difficult situation but all is well.
“The grace is there and no doubt will take us higher even though we spotted blue stripes in the goal keeper’s jersey which should not be there. When a doctor prescribes, the patient must follow, especially when it’s coming from the source of man’s existence on earth, the giver of life.
“I said they should not use Britannia colour blue but as “asiri eko onitu loju ewe” literarily meaning that the Eagles will not be put to shame.
“Now they have to go for the ball like wounded lions for something to happen. Nigeria has the light and the victory is for Africa,” said Guru.
